  • How far in advance do I need to book?
    While we are happy to try to accommodate last-minute requests, our availability is subject to other reservations. The more notice you can give the better!
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    We will provide a full refund for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled picnic. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the confirmed reservation date are non-refundable. However, we understand life can be filled with surprises, so if you need to reschedule your date, we require a 72-hour notice to be sent to us via email. After that, there is a 25% rescheduling fee to change your reservation.
  • Can we leave whenever we want?
    If you’d like to leave your picnic early, just let us know. However, you are responsible for your picnic for the duration of your reservation time, so be sure one of our staff is there before you leave.
  • Where can we have a picnic?
    We are based in Carolina Beach, NC and service the surrounding area within a 15 mile radius. You can set up your picnic either at a private home, or at one of our suggested public beach access locations,. You can always contact us and we can work together to come up with a special place that will fit your event needs.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
    Yes, we do! Just click the E-Gift Card button and choose a custom amount or picnic package.
  • Do you stay during my picnic?
    We do not stay on site for the duration of your reservation time, however, if you need us during your event, you can call or text us and we will be on-site within minutes.
  • What if the weather is bad?
    In the event of inclement weather, Social Sandbox does not have a cancellation fee. We will notify you of the cancellation and will make an attempt to reschedule your picnic for a different day/time. In the case of inclement weather forcing a cancellation, a full refund the purchase amount.
